East Lomond (Falkland Hill)
From the South: Follow the M90 to junction 2a. Leave the motorway heading right on the A92 signposted Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and Dundee. Continue on and by pass Glenrothes, head North
(3 miles) till you reach the Muirhead roundabout.
Turn left on the A912 heading for Falkland.
Within 1/2 mile turn left on to hill road signposted Falkland Hill, (East Lomond).
Follow this road to the car park beside the mast.
From the North: Follow the A92 from Dundee, through Freuchie to the Muirhead roundabout.
Turn right on to the A912 heading for Falkland.
Within 1/2 mile turn left on to hill road signposted Falkland Hill, (East Lomond).
Follow this road to the car park beside the mast.
All the sites for flying are then within easy walking distance.
This hill flies NE thru' to NNW and SSE thru' to W.
NW flyable but with caution , landing area very restricted.
E slope very shallow, adjacent to the car park.
Please exercise caution on all our slopes.
