Bishop Hill From the South: Follow the M90 North to junction 5 (Kinross). Turn to the right and head for Milnathort. From Milnathort turn right on the A911and head for Kinnesswood, Scotlandwell, Leslie and Glenrothes. From the North: Follow the M90 South to junction 7 (Milnathort). Turn to the left and follow the A911 for Kinnesswood, Scotlandwell, Leslie and Glenrothes. There is a footpath from the outskirts of Kinnesswood, by the Golf course, to the top of the hill. There is a footpath from Scotlandwell Church to the top of the hill. If using these access routes please park with consideration to other users, especially at the weekends. Both these access routes involve a long walk and should be approached with caution.   Very Important This site is shared with full size gliders, whilst this does not pose any real problem consideration must be given to the safety of the pilots flying the BIG TOYS. On all occasions, they come first and we must make way. Never fly this site alone, always have a spotter for the full size. On competition days, fliers meet at Glenrothes Town Park car park then proceed in convoy to another, more access friendly car park, this is on private land and is not for every day use.
